Chrome is a chemical element, a metal of hard transition and rust resistant. In the footwear industry it’s generally used in tanning leather, using a method called ‘chrome tanning’. Many people are allergic to some shoes; this is because the main exposure we have to chrome salts is via leather.
In our chrome free shoes, we leave this material out, thereby avoiding allergies to the same. Furthermore, their eco-sustainable production enables us to reduce our consumption in: electricity, water, gas, chemical products and CO2 emission into the atmosphere.
