The ATAUCHI Project marks an outstanding example in which the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is realized. It shows a perfect link between a private company (El Naturalista) and a NGO (ProPerú) and our efforts to develop together educational projects for the smallest and poorest children of Peru.
With the launching of the On-line shop, El Naturalista has decided to continue betting on solidarity, From now on when you buy a pair of shoes of our brand on-line you will contribute with 1 euro to the Atauchi Proyect.
Since 2004 our company through this project has been collaborating with Pro-Perú: a non governmental / non profit organization donating 1 Euro of every shoe sold from the NASCA collection. These shoes have been inspired by the famous NASCA lines in the south of Peru and named world cultural heritage by the UNESCO.
Until now El Naturalista has already donated more than 90.000 Euros – this means that more than 90.000 people have helped the children in Peru, through the ATAUCHI project. The first 12.000 Euros were used to rebuild the schools in the city of Chalaco (North of Peru). Now El Naturalista is supporting a project for abandoned and disabled children in the city of Arequipa, called "The city of Hope". This complex will take care 113 children by 2008.
The ATAUCHI Project has involved our whole team, agents, distributors, responsible for communication and marketing, press agencies, designers, product developers factories, shops, and customers. – The solidarity spirit of this initiative has been spread to everyone. All of these people have made possible the success of this collection. The human and solidarity component of our whole team made us aware of the commitment we all have with the smallest and poorest around the world.
More than 90.000 people around the world have already shown their support to the ATAUCHI Project buying one pair of this collection. You can also help us!! All your help is needed.
