El Naturalista

Our name expresses a different way of thinking and acting. Being a "Naturalista" implies a respect for a rich and deep philosophy that places its trust in life and, on principle, attributes all things to nature.

Our symbol, the frog, represents a land made fertile by water and embodies simple, worldly pleasures. The frog represents the permanent fight against stagnation and reflects our nonconformist character.

Following a road

"Naturalistas" start their journey observing everything that surrounds them. They travel through the world and observe it, becoming impregnated by its textures, its colors, its lines... and after a thousand journeys, real and imaginary, they discover that a single idea brings us together. Whatever our race or culture... we all walk in search of happiness.

It is that simple. And that complicated.

Market laws lead us to a business model based on immediacy from which it is very difficult to free oneself. El Naturalista wishes to demonstrate to the world that it is possible to travel in a different direction, along a different road, living and enjoying life.

Leaving our footprint

Movement is El Naturalista´s reason to exist. That is why we enjoy creating comfortable and attractive footwear, that helps us to move along the amazing journey of life. We make shoes for people who embrace life as they walk. Our designers are inspired by dreams of a better world.

Aware of our responsibility for our world, we seek out indigenous communities who want to develop but who, at the same time, have much to teach us. In an act of mutual learning, we bring progress closer to the people who inspire us and help them to grow, not only as a group but also as individuals. Progress, if it is to be synonymous to devastation, makes no sense to us. Life inspires life and that is why El Naturalista develops footwear to walk through life with respect and care.
